More Selfish Sons More Selfish Sons

Brisbane group Selfish Sons premiere their new single, Sleep, exclusively with The Music today.

"Sleep was the type of song that came together in pieces, I’d had Insomnia for quite some time and couldn’t seem to focus or make sense of anything more than a disjointed idea," said the band's Jordy Polbodetto of the track.

"I think that’s why this song has the character that it does; it spurred from that confused and frustrated place.

"To be honest, I was just so sick of being awake for 40 hours at a time and not being able to find any clarity."

Selfish Sons will be heading out on a tour next month to celebrate the release.

They'll kick off the run at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney on 13 March and then head to Melbourne's Wrangler Studios. They'll wrap up at The Foundry on 20 March.
