Presenting shoegaze at its finest, Perth's Lanark are gearing up to launch new single Anywhere But Here next month, drenched in dream-pop melodies and reverb-driven guitar lines.
It’s hard to pin-point Lanark’s exact sound, especially considering the eclectic nature of 2014’s self-titled debut, but this new single is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.
It’s the band’s final recording with founding keyboardist Temily-Jaye Seivers, which sees them move forward as a four piece as they prepare for an EP later this year.
The single will be available digitally and on vinyl, which you can pick up at the Lanark hometown launch show at Amplifier Bar on Friday 10 June with Childsaint, Shy Panther and Ah Trees in support.
