Sydney-based musician Jake Meadows has a new EP in the pipeline, and to help prick up your ears ahead of its release, the talented troubadour is unveiling his gorgeous new single, Echo Of Tomorrow, featuring renowned Aussie muso Daniel Johns.
The Music is proud to present the premiere airing of the track, an electronically infused, rhythmically forceful, ethereally emotive arrangement featuring samples, live instrumentation — including from Meadows' weapon of choice, the harp — and dulcet, low-end lead vocals, providing a lush and wide-ranging listen over its three-and-a-half-minute run time.
Echo Of Tomorrow marks the first taste from Meadows' forthcoming EP, Good Company, which is set for independent release in the near future; you'll be able to get your hands on the single officially from 11 March.
Meadows will have a celebratory performance of sorts in the immediate wake of the single's release, being freshly confirmed as the exclusive sunset performer for Bondi Beach's A Moveable Feast event on 12 March.
