PREMIERE: Imperial Broads - You're Scared

More Imperial Broads Imperial Broads

Sydney garage punks Imperial Broads are premiering their debut single, You're Scared, exclusively on theMusic.com.au and we're super stoked to share their NYC punk vibes for the first time.

Formed in an innerwest Sydney garage, the three ladies — the Broads — share vocal duties with their drummer and have already played with the likes of Rainbow Chan and These New South Whales.

The band's Pip Smith says You're Scared was "written from a place of sexual frustration. At the time I was also bored by the coy expression of female sexuality in the music I liked. I wanted to flip the predator/pursued power relationship and get people dancing at the same time".

Imperial Broads will be dropping their self-released record Who Are We Turning Into? this November.
