Hey Geronimo are a week out from releasing their new single, Bad Citizen, but the band are giving us all a head-start by dropping the politically-charged video clip for the track, premiering on theMusic.com.au today.
Filled with imagery of Donald Trump, John Lennon and shocking protest footage, the Brisbane outfit shout a crystal-clear message throughout Bad Citizen.
"We're endlessly fascinated in how advances of technology are changing society for the better and the worse," frontman Pete Kilroy said.
"Bad Citizen reflects the idea that some of this change can be potentially be negative. It's not an original idea but the reality is that we are really living in a new age of alternative facts, double-think, reduced privacy and the potential for unprecedented surveillance."
