Up-and-coming Gippsland folk artist Darcy Fox is keen to share her latest single with theMusic.com.au today, the tinkling, catchy Hurricane.
Hurricane hails from Fox's upcoming EP, Chapter One, and is about vowing to do better for your loved ones. Experimenting with found objects, Fox utilises dropped coins to mimic a snare's sound and the rattling of an old petrol bowser to create the rhythm at the end of the track.
The video, on the other hand, is simple enough — starting alongside the gloomy marshland at the beginning, when we get mid-song, the sun starts to shine and Fox's gleaming wide dress is covered in paints.
