Following on from a powerful debut single earlier this year, WA-based indie rock powerhouse Big Orange have finally unveiled their eagerly awaited EP.
Much like its title track, the Streets EP captures a sense of adolescent confusion while paying homage to Smashing Pumpkins, The Triffids and The Cure.
“I was reading Jack Kerouac's On the Road and listening to Bruce Springsteen,” said Daniel Davis of writing the single. “I also went on my own road trips through America and across Australia around this time.”
The solid five-track debut is laid-back but still engaging and uplifting, and you can catch them live during Hidden Treasures Winter Music Series this Thursday, July 20, at The National Hotel alongside.
