Post Malone is set to add ‘actor’ to his growing resume as he joins the star-studded cast of the upcoming action-packed film Road House.
The movie is set to stream globally on Prime Video from March 21, promising viewers an adrenaline-fueled experience featuring a powerhouse ensemble including Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor McGregor, Daniela Melchior, Jessica Williams, Billy Magnussen, Lukas Gage, and introducing Post Malone (aka Austin Post) as 'Carter.'
Accompanying the exciting announcement are character posters that offer a glimpse into the intense and gritty world of Road House.
Directed by Doug Liman, Road House stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Dalton, an ex-UFC fighter seeking redemption from his violent past. Dalton is hired as the new bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys, owned by Frankie (Jessica Williams), with the goal of thwarting a violent gang working for the ruthless crime boss Brandt (Billy Magnussen).
The stakes rise as a ruthless gun-for-hire, Knox (Conor McGregor), enters the scene, turning the tropical Keys into a battleground for survival.
In addition to the film, fans can immerse themselves in the Road House universe through a unique augmented reality (AR) experience. Neon character posters from the movie will come to life with a dedicated AR filter, encouraging fans to share their experience on social media platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Post Malone's latest foray into the entertainment world follows his recent headline tour in Australia, where he thrilled fans with surprise collaborations and unforgettable performances. In a recent show in Sydney, Post Malone brought out Aussie legend The Kid LAROI for a memorable duet, performing tracks like Bleed and Wasting Angels amidst challenging weather conditions.
In a true testament to his dedication to Down Under, Posty also attempted to break a record for the most "shoeys" during a performance during his Australian tour.
The singer managed an impressive (or perhaps regrettable) feat of seven shoeys during the Brisbane show, the final during which he gifted his guitar to a fan and exited with a seventh and final shoey from his own sneaker.

“Thank you for breaking the world record of shoeys tonight with me. I’ve been Austin Richard Post; make some noise for this amazing band right here,” he declared at the conclusion of the Brisbane show.
