Best record you stole from your folks’ collection? Led Zeppelin II. Constantly played air drums to Moby Dick in the back seat of my parents’ car.

First record you bought? Guns N’ Roses – Use Your Illusion II. It had the song from Terminator 2 and many swear words. I was ten and thought both of those things were cool as shit.

Record you put on when you’re really miserable? Neurosis – The Eye of Every Storm. Every song piles on more and more misery, coupled with incredible songwriting. Possibly the most underrated album of all time.

Record you put on when you bring someone home? Timber Timbre – Hot Dreams. Sleazy saxophone and bass lines happening everywhere.

Most surprising record in your collection? The Knife – Shaking The Habitual. Probably sticks out the most at the moment.

Last thing you bought/downloaded? Wovenhand – Refractory Obdurate. It’s the heaviest alt-country album you will ever hear. One of the best records of 2014.
