What's your fave thing about events around Australia Day? Well, Australia Day is a contentious one, and for good reason. It's a good day to at least talk about our nation's identity and how it can grow. The weather is nice in January.
What's something that's quintessentially Australian? Just being amongst nature. Australia is a beautiful place. I love the coast, I love the country, I love the outback, I love our native animals. Don't mind cracking a beer while enjoying said things.
Do you think there's a difference between playing a big event like Ozfest when there is an all Aussie bill as opposed to when international acts feature? An Australian bill is nice because we'll probably know the other bands and it's nice to catch up with other musicians. International acts are either shy or cocky, so they usually keep to themselves.
