Presumably you’ve been to the Newtown Festival before, what’s your favourite memory? Probably watching Georgia Fair play on the small stage near the Courty. It was about six or seven years ago. Can't tell you how long we've all wanted to be a part of Newtown Festival!

Lots of suburbs put on festivals, but Newtown Festival is always particularly huge - why do you think that is? The amount of work that the team behind the festival puts in is monumental, and the food/music/stalls they have booked for years in the past is a testament to that. They know how to create a fun, relaxed and community vibe.

Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? On the bill hill watching the main stage. You get a lot less of the hustle and bustle that the rest of the park gets.

What would be your entry into the dog show? My absolute sweet baby angel dogs Zack and Ralph. They would lose all the competitions because they are awful at following instructions, but they would win in being the most cute.

What is it about the Inner West that inspires so much creativity? I think creativity is inspired by community and creative energy. So when you have an entire suburb filled with like-minded individuals all doing great and amazing creative things you're bound to feel a kind of excess drive and energy.

Of all the food stalls on offer at the Festival, what do you reckon is one we should definitely check out and why? Get amongst Yulli's for those sweet vegan treats (and really great brews!).

When and where are you performing on the day? Jackie Brown Jr are performing on the main stage at 1.55pm!
