Presumably you've been to the Newtown Festival before, what's your favourite memory? Yep, it's at the top of my street! Such a wonderful time each year. Seeing my friends play on top of a caravan last year was pretty great. And the dog show is really spectacular.
Lots of suburbs put on festivals, but Newtown Festival is always particularly huge - why do you think that is? Newtown is full of amazing people and ideas. A little melting pot for artists and musicians and therefore the festival is always so much fun and well put together. Newtown Community Centre is incredible too.
Favourite spot at the festival to chill and watch the world go by? Under the trees up by the playground, I sit there a lot anyway, patting dogs and watching the sun go down is pretty great there.
What would be your entry into the dog show? Oh wow, those little hot dog suits for Daschunds are pretty hard to beat.
The festival's theme this year is "Home Is Where The Heart Is" - where do you feel most at home in Newtown and why? Definitely in the park where the festival happens, I walk through there every day that I'm not touring and seeing everyone enjoying the space and walking their dogs is magical. Especially at sunset.

The musical line-up this year is all from inner west artists. What is it about the inner west that inspires so much creativity? There are so many incredible musicians in the area so that's very inspiring. Creativity attracts creativity and Newtown has always been its own vibrantly concentrated microcosmos music scene. We skulk around in packs you know.
Of all the food stalls on offer at the Festival, what do you reckon is one we should definitely check out and why? I'm a traditional Newtown Festival gozleme kind of gal. Every year. Spinach and feta, boom. I think I'm hungry now, ha ha. Everything is always delicious, bring your hunger!
When and where are you performing on the day? On the main stage at 11.30am with my amazing band.
