"You'll see me lining up to get the new Young Henrys Newtowner tinnies!"
Answered by: Sindy Sinn — drummer
Presumably you've been to the Newtown Festival before, what's your best memory? I've been involved with every Newtown Festival for the last eight years. A highlight was seeing a naked and wasted dude somehow crawl onto the roof of the Main Stage.
What's first and why — music or stalls or bars? This year there's a massive focus on good food and beers, especially with the Newtown Locals. You'll see me lining up to get the new Young Henrys Newtowner tinnies!
What would be your entry into the dog show? Our bass player Clinny has a psychotic overly-energetic Boston Terrier named Pablo. Being in a dog show might be a nice change from running around shitting on things.

Aside from the festival, what are your favourite Newtown locations? Benny Hay and I run an art-studio in Newtown called Snake Eyes Studios. Otherwise, you'll find us drinking at Young Henrys, or eating at Mary's any chance we get.
Why do you think your music is a good fit for the Newtown Festival? The Persian Drugs are a beer-soaked tambourine-boogie blues thing.
If you were to enter Miss Newtopia, open to any age or gender, what would be your secret to winning? A combination of crap jokes and social-Tourette's has gotten me into and out of any situation.
When and where are you performing on the day? The Persian Drugs are playing the Essential Stage at 12.50pm. See ya there.
