What makes your event stand out? Being a regional not-for-profit event, run by people full of passion! A strong focus on emerging and Indigenous performers, a diverse mix of music - something for every music lover, a great family weekend.

How are things progressing for the next festival? Fantastically! Heaps will be happening. Along with music, panels and workshops, we will have an art walk - and WEDDINGS... real weddings. Emerging artists, mental health and the environment are a focus too.

Favourite Nannup Music festival 'Do you remember when...' moment? There's a few, but I remember finding Jimmy Barnes backstage unannounced, he had dropped in to see friends that were performing and did a few guest songs. It was bizarre but I will admit, I love Cold Chisel!

Best ever rider request from an act? There have been a few overindulgent requests, but nothing really exciting! Imported American cookies? Didn't happen.

Why is the Nannup community so strong with the festival? Because we're proud! It's fun hosting such a great event and sharing it with such a wide and diverse audience.

Any acts that went a little too hard? We have had a few wild times, but really Nannup seems to create a vibe where everyone's digging the festival together.

Who would your dream headliner be? So Many - Gillian Welch, The Boss, The Pogues, Nick Cave, Rage Against The Machine, Daft Punk, Bob Marley, Beastie Boys, Amy Winehouse - Johnny Cash could duet with any of them, obviously all a dream!

What are the key dates for next year's festival? 3 - 6 Mar. It's always on WA's Labour Day long weekend.
