Flying up to Sydney for an overnighter to get amongst the 75,000+ punters who attended the Fire Fight Australia bushfire benefit - Queen + Adam Lambert, Alice Cooper, k.d. lang, Farnsy, Icehouse etc - back in Feb and then returning to Melbourne to conduct a face-to-face interview with the impossibly stylish/devastatingly handsome/matchlessly talented Adam Lambert. Who woulda thunk that, within a month, ALL of my fave things to do in life - travel, attending gigs and conducting face-to-face interviews with legends - would be completely ruled out thanks to ‘Rona the fun sponge!? (Close runner-up: conducting a top-notch phoner with the one and only Tommy Lee ahead of his ace Andro solo album release! \m/)
