INTRODUCING: TEETH CAN

Tell about about yourself?

My name's Keith Tan and I’ve been mixing for just over five years and producing for about three.

What kinda tunes we talkin’?

I focus mainly on future-bass/beats but spin and make trap, chill, tropical and more. Taking influences from GANZ, Wave Racer, Sable and more, I’m trying to bring my own style into the bass music scene.

Production/writing process:

My writing process doesn’t have a standard starting point, but normally depends on sparks of inspiration or creativity. I do a lot of experimenting with creating my own patches (sounds) and try to incorporate them with unique and complex drums. I enjoy producing with others – i.e. CIRE – as I find it helps with creative blocks and sometimes two peoples flow can complement each other in a great way.

What do you do outside of music?

Most the time I sleep. But other than that I’m normally either studying (just about finished my Sound & Web Comm’s degree :D) or with my missus, mates or family.

What’s the rest of the year have in store?

I’ve got a lot of tunes that are almost ready to be released, just getting them right so it can be at the best standard for your ears! I also have another live project in the works with a couple talented individuals, we’re calling it “Boots Cats”. Aiming to bring the live performance back into the future-bass/beats, dance and trap.
