Listen: Peach Tree Rascals - Yesterday

DIY outfit Peach Tree Rascals are a collective of  creatives, producers, rappers, singers, and musicians who yield an original sound that falls somewhere between alternative indie pop and the hip-hop/ rap realms. Releasing their EP Does A Fish Know When It’s Wet? earlier this year (which you can read more on here) followed by an extensive European tour, the LA-based group unveil their latest dreamy take titled Yesterday. 

Grounding in a solid rhythm section, Yesterday sports airy guitar plucks and heavenly reverb-drenched harmonies, as the lead melody “I’ll find a way to take you there” engulfs you in its bitter sweet longines. Coming in just shy of 3-minutes and produced by band mates Dominic Pizano, Andre Samuel, Jasper Barros, Josh Deane, Ryan Raines, and JONES, it’s an effortlessly polished track - the kind of standard we’ve come to expect from Peach Tree Rascals, that settles into a more chilled-out tempo than July’s EP release.
