Mark Johns moves away from Kanye covers into blissful summer-house vibes..

Australian female vocalist Mark Johns is currently making huge inroads overseas. After working with our own Sable on THIS killer Kanye West cover, she's been kicking arse and taking names in the US, more recently dropping another Yeezy cover with cool cat Sweater Beats (listen HERE). And today sees her getting away from the never-smiling one and lending her soothing vocals to a new original track from Norway-based producer Bearson - Imposter. It's an exciting step for the vocalist, and a killer track all round. Tropical house has been a pretty divisive genre thanks to artists like Kygo and Thomas Jack, but Bearson's take feels like a step above the at-times same-same sounds from some of the aforementioned artists. Imposter is an impecabbly produced, silky smooth slice of summer-house, accentuated by Johns' coo-ing vocals. It might be heading into the winter months down under, but we'll happily take ourselves out of the cold if artists like Bearson continue pushing that tropical-house vibe away from cliches.
