This week we are super excited to be launching the new album from Wild Beasts – Smother, but then again we are only human. Big thanks to our friends over at Domino.
If you are anything like us, then the news of a new Wild Beasts album caused your heart to skip a beat, and you haven’t even heard a note of it yet. Smother is an enrapturing album that pulls you in with the bands effortless ability to interweave graceful pianos with soaring guitars and the contrasting vocals of lead singer Thorpe’s spine-tingling croon with Fleming’s gravelly interjections.
The music slowly builds intensity and showcases easily some of Wild Beasts best lyrics to date. ‘Ends Too Soon’ is the final track on the album and sums up our sentiments exactly.
