This week we’re super excited to be launching the latest release from The Beastie Boys, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two! All thanks to our friends at EMI.
For seven years fans have been on tenterhooks waiting for the boys to release a new album, and Hot Sauce won’t disappoint. On this latest offering, there is no pretense as the trio return to their specialty: retro rap. They manage to combine the pop-culture reference filled lyrical content we know and love, while experimenting with layering synths and gritty guitar riffs.
On Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, the Beasties are unashamedly unique, and don’t strive to impress anyone but themselves. The fact that they do is just a wayside.
