Get to know a little more about FOAM.

Give a brief rundown of the history of your act from day one to now: Joel and I have been playing music together for as long as we've been able to play our instruments. Day one happened somewhere in 2009, when Harley joined the band. In that time we've been able to play gigs all over this beautiful city with a lot of great bands. Now we're about to launch our first EP.

Tell us about your release. It's a four-track EP entitled Sarpa Salpa. It's named after a fish.

How did you go about recording it? We recorded this EP with Corey from The Novocaines at Ampersonic Studio. Corey really went above and beyond for us, he gave up a lot of his time to make these tracks sound special and we're very fortunate to be able to work with him.

Tell us about your launch party: We're launching this EP at The Beat Nightclub with support from three of our favourite bands: Hunting Huxley, Puck and Energy Commission. Anyone planning on coming to our launch NEEDS to get down early.

What's next for your act? After this EP is out we're going to be focussing all our efforts on gigging as much as possible. We're planning on putting out another EP as well, perhaps before the year is out. We'll see how things go.
