Just Visiting: Digging Roots

Why are you coming to visit our fair country? We're here to tour some amazing dates and festivals like the Brunswick Music Festival and Byron Bay Bluesfest. We've also been collaborating with many musical artists from Melbourne to Arnhem Land.

Is this your first visit? This is our third tour and we've had opportunities to perform at many amazing venues including the Sydney Opera House.

How long are you here for? Digging Roots have been in Australia since the beginning of February. We've chilled in Bondi Beach, played several shows in Arnhem Land and eventually finish our tour in Byron Bay at the end of March.

What do you know about Australia, in ten words or less? It's bigger than it looks — just like Canada, but warmer!

Any extra-curricular activities you hope to participate in while here? Doing some jammin' with other musicians. I got to jam at Venue 505 in Sydney with great musos!

What will you be taking home as a souvenir? We travel a fair amount with lots of gear. Luckily, airlines don't charge extra baggage for the memories that we'll take!
