Morgan Bain has taken us around his favourite places in Perth and now we kind of want to live there.
You may recognise Perth-based artist MORGAN BAIN. The 21-year-old has appeared alongside DRAPHT at many of his live shows and even DAN SULTAN has given him his nod of approval.
Over the last year, the multi-instrumentalist released his tracks 'Summed It Up' and 'Hush'. Both pieces were received extremely well and are the first two glimpses into his debut EP Hush that's about to be released.
Morgan Bain has a gift for creating smooth melodies that dance upon a sweet layer of vocals. 'Summed It Up' is sharp and explosive whilst also being reserved and steady. It's tracks like this that make Morgan shine amongst a sea of upcoming talent. He has a way with music that one doesn't see much of these days and we just know that you're going to be hooked from the second you hit play.

Because we're loving this guy so much, we decided we wanted to get to know him a bit more. We asked our favourite new artist to take us through his favourite parts of Perth and show us what he loves about his hometown.
People watching
"One of my favourite things to do in general is people watching and Perth is especially great for it I think, but not in a judgemental way, it's kind of just an interesting thing for me to do personally. It's probably a favourite past time of mine."
Hardware Cafe in Scarborough
"My favourite breakfast place where I’m attempting to get through the whole menu....I’m really close!"
Beach
"Any of the beaches here are amazing for a swim and time out :)
"We have the most amazing coastline. I only realised that when I started touring really heavily and felt that I was actually really spoilt to grow up in Perth...it is a beautiful place."
Fremantle Markets
"I've always loved spending time in that laid back cultural vibe. It's in a massive heritage building with great food and atmosphere :) "
Mr Munchies
"My favourite food is sushi hands down! This is one of my favourite places to eat Japanese. It's in Mt Lawley and has amazing Karaage chicken as well!"
Morgan Bain will be heading out on tour to bring his Hush EP to your hometown. Check out the dates below and grab yourself some tickets! Hush is out on February 3.
