From their upcoming album Camp Echo, set for release May 20, Highasakite have unveiled their latest single in Golden Ticket. Deceptive in its indie-pop tones, Golden Ticket is actually about escaping the tragedies and brutalities of the world, with lyrics that pay homage to Nordic WWII poet Guvnor Hofmo’s There’s No More Every Day. The album definitely hints at quality over quantity for Highasakite, boasting nine solid songs on its tracklist. With a headline UK/EU tour in May and appearances at Latitude Festival and The Great Escape locked in, 2016 is looking up for the five-piece.
