How did you get together? Back in 2004 Gray (guitar) put an ad online looking for a singer to work with and Steve (vocals, guitar) responded. I joined the band in 2007 and Elliot (bass) is the newest recruit.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Heavy with melodic vocals.

If you could support any band in the world – past or present – who would it be? Probably Spinal Tap – providing of course that they put us on AFTER the puppet show.

You’re being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album – what would it be? Down On The Upside by Soundgarden. Most would argue, rightly so, that Superunknown is the superior album, but DOTU is more diverse and experimental; I can listen repeatedly and keep hearing new things.

Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? Playing to 8,000+ crowds at Vector Arena in Auckland. We’ve been very lucky to do this a few times supporting Disturbed and Nickelback, and each time has been an amazing experience. Also, being recognized at a Subway in Matamata.

Why should people come and see your band? We love Melbourne, but don’t get to play there often enough. Plus this is our first headlining show down there!
