How did you get together? Leader and choreographer Eliam Royalness formed the group at Liverpool’s Street University, to give youth a chance and a platform to dance.
Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? Qualifying for the Hip Hop International World Championships in Las Vegas in August. Royalness says it’s validation many have never experienced. “A lot of us have been told we’ll never get anywhere, so to get to Las Vegas is a big deal.”
Why should people come and see your crew? With a love and dedication to dance – second to none – The Pioneers have been dubbed Australia’s bravest dance crew.
