When did you start making music and why? Southbound Tram started playing together a couple of years ago for the simple reason of the opportunity to get out and do it.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? A bit of blues.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Almost anything Chicago blues. Albert/Freddie/B.B. King, Bessie Smith, Big Mama Thornton. Because they feel it.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? A couple of gigs have been shoulder-to-shoulder full house. You feel that, and not only play up to it, it adds to the fun.

Why should people come and see your band? Come along, listen to a slightly eclectic selection of blues and have a good time.

When and where for your next gig? Brunswick Hotel, 140 Sydney Rd, Brunswick. November 5th 2016, from 5pm
