How did you get together? Beer. It brings most bands together. It’s the bait that gets them out of office cubicles where they make money and into rehearsal rooms where they spend it all.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Lush, melodic, dark, dirty.

If you could support any band in the world – past or present – who would it be? Elliott Smith. It’d be nice to know what he was really like.

You’re being sent into space, no iPod, you can bring one album – what would it be? When The Town Turns Still – The Jones Facility. A little known WA masterpiece.

Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? Supporting Okkervil River at PIAF. We all love that band and it was amazing to support them and to play on the festival stage and get beers from their rider (with their permission though, that ain’t very rock’n’roll).

Why should people come and see your band? Because we are a lot different to what our name suggests.
