When did you start making music and why? I was 12 years old and had just moved states and the first friend I made had just started guitar, so I decided to learn drums. We started jamming and I was hooked!

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Very, very bloody loud.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? De-Loused In The Comatorium by The Mars Volta. This has always been my go-to album ever since I heard it. It is a masterpiece from start to finish.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? Dunno if this is rock'n'roll or not but we got four songs into a set at a small festival and had to stop because I put my kick pedal through the bass skin — stoked.

Why should people come and see your band? Because if you don't come and see us, you're just a bloody drongo.

When and where for your next gig? Great Northern Hotel, Byron Bay. 10 Jun. We hit the stage at 11.30!
