Name: Corey Wyer
When did you start making music and why? Cursing Stone formed out of a project between Natalie [Whitton, vocalist] and myself in 2006. We wanted to create awesome cinematic rock with beautiful melodic vocals.
Sum up your musical sound in four words? Cinematic female-fronted rock.
If you could support any band in the world - past or present - who would it be? Probably Evanescence, simply because fans of female singers like other bands in the genre. It would make sense.

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Too hard to answer, however I personally think Kamelot’s The Black Halo is a near perfect album, but lately I have been punishing This Is War by 30 Seconds To Mars.
Greatest rock’n’roll moment of your career to date? Any time someone buys our CD in Europe or Japan. That feels like a rockstar moment. Or when we were featured on Triple M’s Homegrown.
Why should people come and see your band? We are heavy but melodic, with catchy songs. I you like music that breaks the mould, check us out!
When and where for your next gig? We are headlining a great show at Valve Bar, 28 Mar.
