When did you start making music and why? I have always loved telling stories, writing monologues and performing. I'm not musically trained but one day Sophie our guitarist invited me for a jam and the rest is history.

Sum up your musical sound in four words? Bright. Energetic. Engaging. Fun.

If you could support any band in the world — past or present — who would it be? I'm going to say L7 cause they just reformed and our band motto is "What would L7 do?" #wwL7d

If you could only listen to one album forevermore, what would it be and why? Patti Smith's Horses. It inspires me to tell stories. It reminds me to respect the marriage of music and words. I don't think I will ever get tired of this album.

Greatest rock'n'roll moment of your career to date? 2015 has given BANDINTEXAS some great moments, supporting Baby Animals and The Superjesus at a sold out Sydney Metro sits pretty high on the list. We would have bought tickets to this show but joining the bill was much better!

Why should people come and see your band? We will make you laugh, smile, sing out loud and feel happier than you did before this moment. Get happy.
