You may not know Georgia Scarlett, but Keith Urban sure does. Saying that the folk singer-songwriter is in “a lane of her own”, Urban knows how to spot a rising star. And so do we.

It’s a compelling and well-crafted thriller. The story unfolds as a courtroom drama, with the protagonist—who is believed to be guilty of murder—fighting to prove her innocence. As the case develops, you’ll find yourself quietly rooting for her, hoping the truth will come to light!
I love crime novels that explore different aspects of a murder and court case - varying perspectives of bystanders, friends, and the jury. Nicci French stories always leave me with something to think about or discuss further.
It’s a very interesting book for those Nickelodeon fans that sheds light on the struggles of acting and fame from a young age. I love how brutally honest Jennette's writing is. The novel transports us into her very brain to pick at the many experiences that child stars face behind the scenes and where those experiences lead to.
Both of these books are such charming stories that mix a little bit of magic with rich history. Woods has a way with words that sweep you away into a romantic and colourful daze. Always an easy, relaxing read!
Evie Woods does a great job of seamlessly transitioning between characters, perspectives, and time periods each chapter which makes her books page turners. I always end up falling in love with the characters instantly.
This is a twisted, thought-provoking dystopian novel that will keep you turning pages well into the night. Set in a society where food is no longer consumed, the story presents increasingly complex and bizarre scenarios that grow more unexpected with each turn. It’s a wild ride of unconventional dystopian ideas that made this book one to remember!
This book is just WEIRD in so many ways, which makes it so addictive! Years on after reading for the first time, I still find myself telling people all about it.
