Foals Announce Big Day Out Sideshow

Brit sensations Foals have made everyone's day by announcing a sideshow to go with their appearance at this year's Big Day Out

So everyone would know by now that Big Day Out 2013 has a stellar line-up, and everyone who hasn’t got a ticket will be waiting for sideshow announcements from their favourite bands. FOALS have announced a few things to their lovely fans this week.

Firstly, drummer Edwin Congreave gave fans of the Oxford natives and good news when he posted the name of the band’s new album pretty casually on their Facebook page. The album is entitled Holy Fire and Congreave slipped it in a status by saying, “word up. big news from our thirrrd rekkid. namely: the name. HOLY FIRE. and it’s like meaningful or something. dig it, or don’t. either way, it’s coming soon.”

And now, FOALS have announced a one-off sideshow accompanying their appearance at next year’s Big Day Out. Unfortunately Melbourne and Brisbane have missed out on this round as FOALS will be playing their only Big Day Out sideshow at the legendary Oxford Art Factory in Sydney. The band will be performing at the popular venue on January 23rd, 2013 and regular faces of the OAF will be excited to hear that the band have chosen their favourite venue to be one of the first places where the band will be playing tracks from Holy Fire. You lucky buggers!
