Sydney producer Flume will be sent to North Korea in an attempt by Australian officials to ease tensions in the region.

Sydney producer and rising star Flume is set to be sent to North Korea to try and ease tensions with his laid-back post-dub house tunes.

In a similar mission to that of former NBA star Dennis Rodman, Flume will travel to meet with the North Korean overlord Kim Jong-un and perform private concerts for the country's administration.

A source inside the Australian embassy in North Korea told theMusic.com.au, “We feel that Flume has got just enough 'hot-right-now' to pull off this dangerous mission and calm tensions in the region. The diplomats are staring to lose control of the situation and we all need some cool Holdin On vibes to chillax too.”

SPA Confidential North Korean correspondent has not been heard from in recent years, but it is believed that Jung-un is hoping to provide guest vocals on a track for Flume's next EP – Getting Down Up North.
