In the lead up to the Byron Bay Bluesfest we spoke to some of the 200 artists who will be performing over the five day festival, which kicks off on 24 Mar. We found out five fun and wacky things about Brotherhood Of The Blues:

  1. Brotherhood Of The Blues singer John Cieslak has hidden talents include whip cracking and being a professional drummer for hire.
  2. Brotherhood Of The Blues members Luke Murray and Harley Bodenham first met at day care when they were 12 months old.
  3. When Brotherhood Of The Blues member Zac Paden was born, his parents were told by doctors that he wouldn't be able to walk (Zac proved them wrong).
  4. Brotherhood Of The Blues keyboardist and backing vocalist Taya Oxley was the support act for the Bee Gees on their 1989 Australian Tour.
