What's your favourite festival moment? Nothing beats the Golden Guitar Awards - the excitement in getting ready, walking the red carpet and hoping your name is read out. And even if it's not, cheering on your mates who may have won.

What are the big differences between playing a festival set and a gig at a regular venue? Overall it's the atmosphere amongst the fans. They're excitement levels tend to go up a few notches, and hence so does ours.

If you could share a festival line-up with any act who would you pick and why? I'd love to play a festival with my favourite acts, Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town and me... that would do nicely!

What's the most important item(s) to pack for a festival? Guitar, sensible shoes and an outfit that doesn't fly up inappropriately in the wind, a few CDs to sell and a well-thought out festival set list!

What's your festival drink of choice? It's very 'un-festival' but a cold glass of white wine!

What are the upcoming festival(s) you're playing over the next few months? Cruisin' Country - an amazing at sea, eight-day festival, and then the big one - The Tamworth Country Music Festival.

Which of the other acts are you most excited to see on the bill? Catherine Britt (who I'm touring with next year), Aleyce Simmonds (as she's releasing a new album).
