A look back at some of Flume's best ever Instagram posts. Influencers, take note!
It's one thing to single-handedly pioneer a subsection of dance music. It's also one thing to become one of your country's most successful musical exports, win Grammys and ARIAs, play COACHELLA, sell out shows across the globe and and millions of loyal fans. This is all well and good, and props where props are due. But, it's another thing entirely when you're able to maintain what might be one of music's best Instagram accounts.
I'm talking, of course, about FLUME: dance music juggernaut, one of the biggest artist's in the world, king of Instagram. Equal parts relatable, memeworthy, topical and just downright funny, Flume's Instagram is source of constant joy in my life. And while real ones will know he's been king of the 'gram since the early days (around the time Purple Sneakers was booking him for his first shows), in recent years he's realised his true potential as content connoisseur way before he ate ass at Burning Man.
From seemingly unassuming thirst traps to his dog's own account to his #travel series, Flume takes the often tiresome task of keeping his Instagram relevant, interesting and highly, highly engaging that many artists struggle with and turns every post into an absolute masterclass. In between releasing game-changing mixtapes, chart-topping singles and collaborative EPs as well as working with many other artists just over the last couple of years alone, Flume has become one of the shining lights on the internet - which at times can feel so dark. So, we felt it fitting to pay tribute to the King of Instagram with a collection of some of our favourite posts of his over recent years. Dive in!

With a new year now ahead of us, I for one can't wait to see what Flume brings for us in 2020. King of bangers, king of Instagram, we truly do love to see it and it's obvious he must be protected at all costs. Flume, please never change.
