"How can we better convince government that music and the arts are as important as other industries both economically and socially?"

Position:
Founder and Editor-in-Chief, the AU review

How did you first become involved in the music business? My first music job was as an usher at a Sydney venue, but seven-and-a-half years ago, I started the AU as a personal blog, which has taken on a life of its own!

What's your area of expertise and what experience do you have? My professional background is in web and graphic design and digital marketing, though my focus these days is on publishing and producing media — through digital, print and events.

What topics will you be mostly talking about at Face The Music? I'll be speaking on and moderating panels on the future of the music industry, publicity and promotion.

What do you hope to personally take away from Face The Music? Really looking forward to seeing what JD Samson has to say in her keynote — I had the opportunity to chat with her years ago and she's a captivating speaker.

What's one question about the music industry you'd love to have the answer to? How can we better convince government that music and the arts are as important as other industries both economically and socially?
