EP PREMIERE: Golden Age Of Ballooning - 'Illusion Of Control'

Golden Age Of Ballooning are back and we have their brand, brand new EP Illusion Of Control to share with you today, premiering on theMusic.com.au.

The EP comes after an 18-month development time for the Brisbane group, who produced the EP in different studios and houses, along with some help from their favourite engineers, like Michael Badger (King Gizzard's Nonagon Infinity), Victor Van Vugt (PJ Harvey, Nick Cave), Nick Herrera (Hiatus Kaiyote) and Tim Baker (Greenthief).

"In a sense this is classic songwriting… but we really wanted to to make these songs as interesting and adventurous as possible," says Golden Age Of Ballooning's Chris Boardman.

"We've gotten better in the studio through working on the first couple of EP's, and although it kinda became a never ending battle of re-writing this and re-tracking that, we are quite proud to have tracked most of it ourselves. I think extra blood and tears make for a better listen."
