After two years of fine tuning their catchy garage-surf sound, Melbourne outfit DIET. are finally dropping their long-awaited debut EP, which is premiering right here today on theMusic.com.au for your listening pleasure.
Written in a number of places from around the globe, the self-titled offering from the talented quintet is a hugely impressive release, filled with layered guitars and rhythmic beats, while refusing to stick to any specific sound or era.
The new release caps off what has been a huge year for the band, having played around the country with some Aussie favourites like Alex Lahey, Big White and Crepes.
To make the news even sweeter for DIET. fans, the lads will launch the new EP at Yah's Yah's on Friday, 14 October, where they will also be supported by a handful of local names including Slowcoaching, Tram Cops, Doona Waves and Lovejoy.
