EP Focus: Imcpayne

Staff Writer

The hip hop artist's debut EP drops September 13.

Name: Chris Payne

EP Title? Better Late Than Never

How many releases do you have now? I have three singles I released earlier this year. And this is my debut EP project.

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? I made this almost three years ago. I was inspired to try and test new sounds and also to try production by myself on this. I'm really inspired by a lot of music.

What's your favourite song on it? Where’s My Head At?

We'll like this EP if we like... Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$, Jurassic 5, Alison Wonderland, What So Not.

When and where is your launch/next gig? October 13 at the Brighton Up Bar in Sydney.
