With speakers from around the world, including Amsterdam's Night Mayor, the 2016 Electronic Music Conference is already outdoing itself.
The Electronic Music Conference is headed back to Sydney again this year, for five whole days of discovery, sharing, learning, and relishing in electronic music culture from around the world - and a bit of dancing too.
With guest speakers from across the globe descending on arguably Australia's electronic music hub, Sydney, each year, we are pinching ourselves at the fact that they've done it again by bringing a mammoth list of speakers again this year.
With Amsterdam's Night Mayor, Mirik Milan (pictured above) providing a keynote speech, delegates will be spoiled for choice for this year's panels. Providing key perspectives and insight into pockets of the electronic music world, some highlights of the panels include Nightlife: The Future Of Australia’s Night Time Culture; Lights + Music: Exploring Live Show Creation; Express Yourself: How LGBTI Culture is Pioneering the Club Experience; Pressing Matters: Why Vinyl Is On The Rise; Coming To You Live: Connecting With Audiences Through Live Streaming; Music and Brands: Partnerships Done Right; and The Art of Rave: The Connection Between Art and Music.
Music Victoria's Patrick Donovan will also be giving a speech which will be especially interesting given the stark differences between how governments have handled Melbourne's and Sydney's nightlife scenes. Honey Dijon, legendary Chicago-born DJ, will appear for the Express Yourself panel, whilst Bradley Zero (labelhead of Rhythm Section) will be bringing his knowledge for the Pressing Matters: Why Vinyl Is On The Rise.

Not to mention the fact that the now esteemed Musica Copa will be back in full swing, as will EMC Play, the live showcases of some of the best budding electronic music acts, and it's pretty safe to say that EMC has really outdone itself this year!
