What kind of courses do you offer? A week-long retreat in January, in Toowoomba, offering contemporary music workshops including: bass, guitar, brass, composition and improvisation, contemporary drums, contemporary piano, contemporary voice: technique, style and performance and songwriting with Jen Mize.

What kind of people would these courses suit? Anyone who sings or plays an instrument! Some level of experience is helpful, and these workshops are geared towards students from Year Ten (15+) to adult.

What makes you different to other educational institutions? McGregor is a fantastic week-long retreat up in the mountain top town of Toowoomba, where people can further their skills and make new friends. Participants get to perform to an audience nightly.

Do you offer job opportunities, internships, or other ways to help students get ahead? Yes - students enrolled in USQ's Bachelor of Creative Arts who attend three McGregor School Music programs over the period of their degree receive credit (One Elective) towards their course.

When and where is your next Info Day/Open Day? McGregor starts on Sunday 8 Jan 2017 and goes through until Saturday 14 Jan. It is at the University of Southern QLD in Toowoomba, approx. 1.5 hours from Brisbane.
