What kind of courses do you offer? Degrees and Diplomas in the Creative Industries including Music, Songwriting, Audio Engineering, Entertainment Business Management, Animation, Game Design, Film & Television and Digital Design.

What kinds of people would most benefit from these courses? Creative thinkers, visionaries and dreamers, those who follow their vision, not the crowd. Musicians, songwriters, artists, filmmakers, designers and those who want to work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.

Do you offer practical on-site learning or more of a theoretical base? JMC Academy's modern facilities ensure that students have access to the latest equipment and software, including professional recording and rehearsal studios, MIDI and digital media labs, and editing suites. A finely balanced curriculum offers classes in both theoretical concepts and practical application.

What makes you different to other educational institutions? JMC's unique integration program ensures students across all courses are able to connect and collaborate on innovative industry-simulated projects. Study tours and exchange programs at creative universities abroad are available. JMC is the institutional partner for Berklee College of Music and also runs the exclusive Creative Network series of masterclasses and industry events.

What kind of social activities do you offer? The Creative Network is a series of uniquely crafted events including masterclasses, speakshops, workshops, pitch nights and networking events designed to expand your knowledge, challenge your thinking and connect you to the real opportunities and professionals you need to know in the creative industries.

Do you offer job opportunities, internships, or other ways to help students get ahead? JMC has taken the concept of work experience and blown it up a notch or three. We've organised the opportunity for students to undertake internships, scheduled as part of the timetable at renowned companies across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

What's an example of your students' post-education achievements? Since graduating, Jess Dunbar and Matt Price have finished in third place on X-Factor, and soon after Jess & Matt were signed by Sony Music Australia and have since released their debut, self-titled album.

What was one of the highlights of your institution's 2017? In 2017, JMC has seen the expansion of our global network, adding a study tour of Japan to our extensive list of study-abroad opportunities, which already includes trips and exchanges to LA, the Netherlands and London.
