Does your Saturday morning ritual involve your couch and a shit load of music television? Would most people describe you as a fiend for music and pop culture? Well friends, Channel [V] have just what you need...

Get more of what you crave when THE RIFF goes daily* from Monday August 12. OK, so by “daily” we mean “six days a week”, but you get the gist. You can tune in Monday to Saturday, but Sundays are reserved for sleep-ins and hangovers. It’s the same crew, same spin on music culture, in all its raw and uncensored glory. The show will air weekdays at 5pm and LIVE Saturdays at 10.30am (AEST).

The Riff is Channel [V]’s unique view on the events of the day. Since launching in December 2010, it has fast become the channel’s most successful production. So much so, The Riff won the 2013 ASTRA for the Best Light Entertainment Program on Subscription Television. Now it becomes the only daily* music culture TV show in Australia, each episode is an injection of raw, uncensored and indulgent TV goodness.

Channel [V]’s Billy Russell, Danny Clayton, Carissa Walford and Marty Smiley riff on music and all that’s

addictive, breaking news, viral stuff and what’s pushing their buttons. And if you don’t agree with what they say? Feel free to let them have it via Facebook and Twitter.

A new addition to the format is that the weekday shows will also feature artist interviews and exclusive performances in the Channel [V] studio. The Riff is unapologetic, mischievous and determined to stay ahead of the game. Get your fix Monday to Saturday from August 12 on Channel [V].
