For the fourth consecutive year Carbon festival returned to Melbourne to transform RMIT's Storey Hall into a hub of contemporary style, design & culture. The week of festivities included the official Australian launch of the adidas Originals ZX Flux featuring work from Vans the Omega and Patrick Martinez, 'Fly your own flag' - a collaborative event between New Era Cap and record label Mad Decent, 'Hoodlums' - an exhibition of photographic works by Prettypuke and a Croft Alley takeover with Ironlak and participating artists Sofles, Treas and Blends. The Carbon Festival line-up of speakers included Janette Beckman, Hardy Blechman, Paul Devro, Richard Kern, Stephen Malbon, Patrick Martinez, Mark McNairy, Mike O'Meally, Prettypuke, Levi Ramsey, Brent Rollins, Jeff Soto, Ta-ku, Sheryo & The Yok.
