Short description of your band and your music: Shellfin is a stoner rock band playing heavy, catchy grooves in the same vein as Kyuss and Monster Magnet. We've got more bottom end than a twerking video and some long, spaced-out jams. Get ready to sway!

What are you hoping to achieve from showcasing at BIGSOUND? We're really just hoping that Russell Morris is around to see us play our cover of his song The Real Thing, haha. I saw the list of special guests and speakers for the conference and would love to meet ol' Russ because the dude's a legend.

Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? Because we're sick? There hasn't been much stoner rock representation at BIGSOUND in the past so we're stoked to be one of the first recognised. We're hoping our fans and potential new fans recognise this too!
