Short description of your band and your music: I make whimsical and melancholic folky songs. Courageous and classical, strings and oddity, quiet and explosive, reverb and sincerity.
What are you hoping to achieve from showcasing at BIGSOUND? I'm hoping to get a bit of a taste of what's happening in Australia, and to meet some folks who play music and do music here and abroad. BIGSOUND seems like a really extraordinary convergence of these kind of people from all around the world, and it's exciting to be a small part. I'm also excited to play music in Australia for the first time ever.
Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? I think that what makes our set unique is how dynamic it is: tremblingly fragile to bursting energy and everything in between. We do a lot of ambience-building on stage and it adds a depth to our live show that I'm very proud of.
