Short description of your band and your music: Singer-songwriter who recently took to writing indie-pop music flavoured by a punk rock obsession in my teenage years.
Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? There's a party side? Nobody told me! I've been doing all my partying in my spare time. But really, I don't make music for the party side, so I had no expectations.
What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? I still can't believe I'm lucky enough to have the people at UNIFIED on my team as management. Without their advice/assistance/guidance I wouldn't have had any of the awesome experiences I've had.
Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? Surely most people would say artistic but I'd sure love to play a stadium show one day. That doesn't mean I don't value the art or want to improve myself, but you know? Stadiums, man.

Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? I like my live set because it's purely acoustic and all about the songs, but in the studio I really get to achieve my vision for a song, so I prefer my studio stuff.
If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? Hozier. The dude is a lyrical wizard. I want to pick his brain and learn his process.
What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? So far I've just loved learning more and more about the industry. If I get to learn a few more things about how it all works, I'll be happy.
What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? Gang Of Youths, Timberwolf, HOWQUA.
Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? I write honest songs with catchy hooks and I have a mean whistle. My voice doesn't match my appearance so come see what that looks like. If you like ginger beards I've got you covered.
