"As a hip hop artist my ambitions and method of creating music come from a place of integrity."
Hometown: Adelaide
Short description of your band and your music: Solo hip hop artist/producer. Newest signee to Golden Era Records, the Hilltop Hoods record label.
Has the party side of the music industry been all you were hoping for so far in your career? Pyjama parties are the highlight of my industry partying calendar, but if there aren't enough cocktail pastries to go around, things can get awkward.
What is the best thing that's happened to you/your band so far? At the end of last year I toured nationally with Hilltop Hoods, supporting every show they did on the Cosby Sweater tour alongside Thundamentals.

Are your ambitions mainly artistic or commercial? As a hip hop artist my ambitions and method of creating music come from a place of integrity. As a producer being able to produce an array of different sounds makes my music universally accessible.
Is your music best rendered in the studio or the live realm? While most of my time is spent engineering sounds to get them sounding as good as possible on record, the energy can never be matched when compared to my live performance.
If you could have any act past or present join you on your next tour who would you tap? I'd love to do a lap of Australia with Run The Jewels. From our own country I'm feeling the sounds of Koi Child tremendously and would love to do something with them!
What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? How to service my production to film and television in the most professional way, speaking to management/booking agencies.
What acts are you looking forward to checking out at the BIGSOUND showcase? I'm keen to see Hau, Koi Child, Katy Steele, Baro, Grenadiers, Horror My Friend, Skies, Astral Skulls, Caitlin Park and Tash Sultana.
Why should people come and see you from amongst the many cool bands at BIGSOUND? I'm bringing a brand new energy-crammed set to BIGSOUND this year, accompanied by one of the world's most known turntablists, DJ Total Eclipse, and the supremely talented Chris Weber on trumpet (Hilltop Hoods, Shaolin Afronauts).
